Repatriation of a Moroccan Victim of the Ethiopian Airlines Accident

After the repatriation of the first victim of the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash, the remains of the second victim are expected to arrive in Morocco in the next few days for burial.

The plane crash of the Ethiopian airline on March 10 also caused Moroccan victims. If Chiheb Benamed, the first repatriated victim, now rests in his homeland.

The remains of El Hassan Sayouty, who also died in the accident, will be repatriated Wednesday night from Addis Ababa to Casablanca.

Members of the Moroccan embassy and ambassador to Ethiopia and Djibouti, Nezha Alaoui M’Hammdi, attended the closing and sealing of the coffin.

The Ethiopian health authorities and security services were also represented at the ceremony.

After reading the Fatiha, the coffin was delivered to the competent services for repatriation to Morocco.

It should be noted that the Ethiopian plane, which was due to leave Addis Ababa towards Nairobi, Kenya, crashed six minutes after takeoff, killing 157 people.
