Presidential Plane Traveled from Honduras to the United States in Search of Equipment to Attend COVID-19 Emergency

The Secretary of the Republic, Ricardo Leonel Cardona, reported that the Presidential Plane left this Monday from the Honduran Air Force (FFAA), bound for the United States,

“The plane is modified, that is, without seats, because it is going to bring implements that are going to be required for this emergency, such as respirators and other surgical supplements,” he said.

Cardona indicated that all the supplies that will be brought on this flight were compared by the Government, although previously the Pan American Health Organization of the Organization of American States (PAHO/OPM), donated suits and reagents to attend the emergency, same expected to return to the country that same day.

Likewise, he added that the president, Juan Orlando Hernández, is meeting with the National Council for Defense and Security and with the Council of Ministers, to take measures in the face of the Covid-19 emergency.
