Bombardier A220Japanese corporation Teijin Limited has announced that it has received a contract to supply Tenax carbon fiber materials to Bombardier Aerostructures and Engineering Services for another seven years to 2025.

Teijin focuses on shipments for the aircraft industry as one of the key elements of the growth strategy in its Medium Term Development Plan for 2017-2019. Corporations are rapidly developing the use in high production areas of such cost-effective materials as high-strength and high-modulus carbon fibers, Tenax TPUD thermoplastic unidirectional tapes, Tenax TPCL thermoplastic consolidated laminates, thermo-reactive prepregs, and direct-base fabrics.
