A United States Air Force F-35A Lightning II fighter bomber crashed during landing Tuesday night after a routine training flight in Florida.
The pilot managed to eject and is in stable condition, the Eglin military base reported on his Twitter account.
He indicated that the accident, which occurred at 21:30 local time, did not cause material damage or victims, and is under investigation.
This is the second plane crash that occurs during training at this base in less than a week. On May 15, an F-22 Raptor crashed, the pilot of which also managed to eject.
