A little less than a year ago, the rapper bought a Boeing 767 and emptied it to furnish it to his liking, all for 185 million dollars (about 168 million euros). With two living rooms and one bedroom, and the light blue painted sheet metal.
But now it will be an even more customized. For entertainment these past few weeks, Virgil Abloh has been giving Drake’s plane a facelift.
From now on, the metal bird will not only take camouflage printing to a whole new level, but will also honor the cover of Drake’s most iconic album, Nothing Was The Same.
With a sky and cloud design, it’s almost ready for the rapper to take to the skies in a personalized way.
Above the engine has been added the name of the plane chosen by the rapper, Air Drake, in addition to a theatrical mask on the wing, an “Abloh Engeneering” on the side and a combination of the logo of the radio program of Abloh and that of the OVO.
It’s official: Drake’s plane is ready to fly and cool not only on the inside, with those leather seats that we already saw at the time, but also on the outside, with the most personalized and beautiful pattern that could have occurred to him Abloh.
