Airline Passenger Opened Emergency Door Because it was “Very Hot”

The unusual event occurred in an apparatus of the Chinese airline Xiamen Airlines, which planned to cover the route from Wuhan to Lanzhou.

The woman, who has not been identified, was traveling north from Wuhan to Lanzhou when she took her seat next to the emergency gate on flight MF8215, at Tianhe International Airport, in Hubei Province.

During the boarding, the flight attendants warned him that he could not open it.

However, she insisted that “she was hot” and wanted “fresh air” so she did not hesitate to turn the knobs on the door.

A video shows the crew and the other passengers in shock when they observe that the woman simply opened the emergency exit.

The crew immediately reported the incident to the Police. After a few moments, airport officials boarded the plane and took the woman to the police station.

The plane was scheduled to leave at 3:45 pm, but due to the incident it was delayed for more than an hour.

The Airport Police confirmed the fact but did not explain whether the heated passenger will be charged.

According to Chinese law, whoever damages or alters the parts of an airplane can be detained for up to 15 days.
