Residents of Spain and Italy have been able to witness the fall of the celestial body.
A huge and luminous meteorite could be seen this Friday from different points of the Mediterranean coast. According to the experts, it was a fireball, a type of meteor that when entering the atmosphere acquires the appearance of a fireball and leaves a bright wake in its path.
Users of social networks shared videos of the fall of the great celestial body that illuminated the skies of the Italian island of Sardinia, and was also seen in parts of eastern Spain such as Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and the Balearic Islands.
