Some passengers acquired the ticket for that schedule especially in order to observe the solar eclipse, while for others it was a pleasant surprise.

Nicolás Fronzo, co-pilot of Aerolineas Argentinas and a fan of photography and astronomy, convinced the company to modify the flight schedule of an airplane departing Tuesday from the Buenos Aires airport, so that passengers could enjoy the  total eclipse of the sun from the height of 11,000 meters, local media reported.

Thus, for the 112 passengers of flight AR 1436 to San Juan, the celestial spectacle began 15 minutes after takeoff, when the Moon slowly began to cover the Sun, until the horizon completely darkened an hour later.

It should be noted that some passengers purchased the ticket for this time especially in order to observe the solar eclipse, while for others it was a wonderful surprise.
