VD Gulf, a member of the Volga-Dnepr Technics company, received a Bermuda certificate for providing services for the aircraft Boeing 777. The company, which is among the leading MRO suppliers in the Middle East, is based in Sharjah (UAE), will be able to carry out maintenance and repair of aircraft for customers who are operators of this type of aircraft.
Obtaining a certificate of Bermuda extends the range of aircraft maintenance and adds to the existing 747-400, 737 CL/NG and A320 now and 777-200/300. The company will be able to attract more customers to Sharjah, ensuring high-quality service to airlines, lessors and aircraft owners.
“Constantly in dialogue with our customers, we felt that obtaining a new certificate would be beneficial not only for companies that cooperate with VD Gulf, but also for a region that can attract additional business to Sharjah and improve the overall level of service quality. Certification was completed as soon as possible in compliance with all standard procedures. Boeing 777 has been in operation for over 20 years and has become the backbone of the fleet for many leading airlines, both passenger and cargo. It is expected that more than 400 aircraft of this type will be delivered by 2030, most of the airline customers are concentrated in the Middle East. Obtaining a certificate for a new type of aircraft is an important milestone in the development of the Volga-Dnepr Technics.
